This Ceremonial Grade Special Selection Matcha Powder is made from first-harvest Japanese green tea leaves — shaded for 14 days and freshly stone-milled by our award-winning tea master in Kyoto, Japan. This premium ceremonial grade matcha delivers a smooth texture and full flavour profile that defines true Japanese matcha.
Matcha is made from the cultivation of green tea leaves that are covered/shade-grown in the last few weeks before harvest. Once harvested, the plant is de-stemmed, dried, sorted by grade then ground into a fine powder.
Matcha has 10 times the benefits than regular green tea (per serving). This is because you are digesting the whole green tea leaf. This gives you energy, alertness and is loaded with antioxidants.
